Nightmare Moon Plush by BrokenPuppet Nightmare Moon Plush by BrokenPuppet
Nightmare moon and her sister took me over 3 weeks in total because I drafted these patterns myself, and the had to make edits and changes to make them look proper.

These gals stand over 12" tall, and are made with soft fleece. They are filled with polyfill and poly pellets in their hooves to make them stand better. There is no wiring at all in their manes or tails. They each have over 70 hand-applied Swarovski crystals on their manes and tails.

The eyes and cutie marks are applied with fleece, machine stitch and hand embroidery (I don't own an embroidery machine)

She has already been sold

Would you ever be willing to make her template available to the public? I would really like to try my hand at making her for myself.

I think you did a wonderful job with the applique eyes and cutie marks. I don't have an embroidery machine either and I hope I can do half as well as you did. I hand sewed Derpy's eyes on the one I made. It took forever and I didn't even give her her cutie mark. The next one I make will have machine applique. I was planning on it for Derpy but didn't for some reason. How did you make her wings stand? Wire or foam?

It does take forever to do all the hand sewing. I still did some of that along with the machine sewing.

Actually, there is nothing in the wings. They aren't too big so they stand pretty decently on their own. Next time I will probably add a layer of interfacing just to give them a teeny bit more stability.

Good luck with your next pony!

Probably once I finish some of the other projects I am currently working on. I'll end up posting about it in my journal.
